Pascal Carrieres

Pascal Carrieres is an experienced leader in the field of engineering and research and development, currently serving as the Director of R&D for the Platforms Division at OPAL-RT TECHNOLOGIES. Prior roles include Vice President of Engineering at Semtech, where oversight was provided to software, firmware, FPGA, hardware, and QA teams for the development of ASIC and FPGA products facilitating high-speed audio/video transport. At Grass Valley, a Belden Brand, Pascal managed multidisciplinary teams to create advanced IP and SDI solutions. Previous experience at Miranda Technologies involved project and technical product management for video and audio processing technologies, and early career roles included test and software engineering at Cogilog/CGL Technologies. Pascal holds a BSEE and an MSEE from Polytechnique Montréal, along with additional studies at McGill University.
