Ravinder Venugopal

Ravinder Venugopal is a seasoned professional in business development and research, currently serving as Vice-President of Business Development and R&D (EMEA) at OPAL-RT TECHNOLOGIES since April 2023. From July 2018, Ravinder has been the Managing Director of OPAL-RT Germany GmbH, where leadership focuses on delivering real-time simulation and hardware-in-the-loop testing technology to the DACH region. Prior experience includes roles such as Executive Director of US Technical Services and Director of Advanced Technologies at OPAL-RT Corporation, as well as founding Intellicass Inc. and Sysendes Inc. Ravinder's academic background includes a Ph.D. and M.S. from the University of Michigan in Aerospace Engineering and Electrical Engineering, alongside a Master's from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor's from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
