Simon Abourida

Simon Abourida is a seasoned professional in the engineering and business development sectors, currently serving as the Business Development Manager for the Middle East at Opal-RT Technologies since April 2013. With a diverse background at Opal-RT Technologies, including roles as Market Development Manager for Japan and the Middle East, and Team Leader for the Electrical Modeling & Simulation Group, Simon has demonstrated expertise in project planning, coordination, sales and marketing support, and commissioning. Prior experience includes working as a Motor Drive Engineer at TM4 and as an Electrical Engineer at Opal-RT Technologies. Simon began their career as a Design Engineer at Hydro Québec International/DECATRON. Educational credentials include a Master of Engineering in Electrical Power Electronics from Polytechnique Montréal and a Diploma of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from École Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Beyrouth.
