Zerui Dong is a Power Electronic Simulation Specialist at OPAL-RT TECHNOLOGIES since September 2019. Prior to this role, Zerui served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Auburn University for a brief period in 2019, following a tenure as a Research Assistant at the same institution from August 2015 to May 2019. At Auburn University, key research efforts included advanced pumped storage hydropower technology and the integration of three-phase inverters in unbalanced power grids. Zerui's experience also includes a relevant role as a Visiting Researcher at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in September 2018, contributing to pumped storage hydropower technology development and dynamic modeling. Education includes a PhD in Power Systems and a Master’s Degree in Power Electronics from Auburn University, alongside a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Automation from China University of Petroleum.
