Professor Thomas R. Bewley holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Caltech and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. They direct the Flow Control and Coordinated Robotics Labs at UC San Diego, where they lead research on fluid systems and multi-modal robotic vehicles. Currently, they serve as a Senior Research Scientist at OPAL AI Inc. and have founded RenaissanceRobotics.com and WordleGear.com. Additionally, Bewley has officiated weddings and worked as a Senior Consultant in Robotics & Controls at ATA Engineering.
