Danielle Kim

Danielle Kim is an experienced professional in public policy and communication, currently serving as the Director of the Asian Community Fund at The Boston Foundation since December 2021. Kim holds a commissioner position at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Asian American Commission and is a founding partner and advisor at Opalite Media. Previous roles include Director of Public Policy at the United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley and Director of Communications at the Scholars Strategy Network. Kim also has experience in policy and communications from Boston After School & Beyond and worked as a Research Fellow at the Harvard Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation. Early career positions include Communications Specialist for the New Jersey Senate Democrats and regional roles in campaigns for Obama for America and the Presidential Inaugural Committee. Academically, Kim holds a Master's Degree in Education Policy and Management from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Government and Psychology from Smith College.
