Jimmy Pham

Jimmy Pham has been a Frontend Engineer for both Opaque Systems (since 2022) and Collov Home Design (since 2020). Prior to that, they were a Simulation Engineer at Argo AI from 2018-2020. During their time at Argo AI, they tested Autonomous vehicles in simulated environments using proprietary modeling software, greatly improving the safety of automation and reducing manual takeovers by 80%. Jimmy also led daily triage meetings and collaborated with AI software engineering teams to identify critical failures in software to prevent live vehicle accidents. Additionally, they quickly onboarded new engineers to the company and co-managed a team of 11 simulation operators.

Jimmy Pham received their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UC San Diego in 2017. In 2019, they completed a Full Stack Web Development course at App Academy. Jimmy also holds an Engineer In Training certification from NCEES.
