Raluca Ada Popa is the President and Co-Founder of Opaque Systems since January 2021 and a Co-Founder of PreVeil. Raluca serves as an Associate Professor in the College of Engineering at UC Berkeley, focusing on computer security and applied cryptography, a position held since July 2015. Prior to these roles, Raluca was a Postdoctoral Researcher at ETH Zurich in the Systems Security Group from 2014 to 2015. Raluca's academic credentials include a PhD in Computer Science, a Master of Engineering, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics, all obtained from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 2006 and 2014.
