Daniel Roy Bako is a Sustainability Leader and Energy Executive with nearly two decades of experience in the Energy Industry. Currently, as the Head of the Environmental Matters Department at OPEC, Bako plans and evaluates initiatives concerning energy policies and sustainable development. Previously, Bako served as the DM of Sustainability at NUIMS and led operations management at NNPC-NAPIMS, overseeing significant Oil & Gas production and electricity generation facilities. Bako's educational achievements include a Master's degree with distinction in Applied Instrumentation & Control from Glasgow Caledonian University and a CORe credential from Harvard Business School Online.
