Lyn Farr

Lyn has more than 40 years’ experience as a social worker and leader in the human services field. In the past 20 years, her work has focused directly on the policy development, implementation and administration of community-based services for children and families in the child welfare and behavioral health systems. Her prior career focused on community-based services for adults and older adults experiencing persistent mental illness, as well as family support and early intervention for children and youth with developmental disabilities.

Lyn retired from full-time work as the Chief Operating Officer for a large California non-profit agency, where she became experienced in the use of technology and data feedback mechanisms to improve service outcomes. She currently has a small consulting practice in California. Her clients have included the California Department of Social Services, San Francisco County, and other California non-profit organizations.

Lyn has a BS and MSW from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California.
