Andreas Wilhelm

Andreas Wilhelm is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as the Engineering Group Manager for HVAC Development & Release at Opel since October 1997. In this role, Andreas oversees a team of 30 individuals, including 27 engineers, and is responsible for Thermal Development, performance integration, and validation of global architectures. Expertise includes project management, HVAC performance optimization, and active thermal management across various vehicle types, including conventional combustion, hybrid, and electric vehicles. Prior to Opel, Andreas held roles at MANNESMAN VDO AG, where responsibilities included innovative design development for instrument cluster actuators. Andreas earned a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from Technische Universität Darmstadt.
