Friedhelm Kettern

Friedhelm Kettern has over three decades of experience at Opel, beginning in July 1991 as a Konstruktionsingenieur in Betriebsmittel and Vorrichtungen, focusing on the design of fixtures and tools for Body in White production. Progressing through various roles, Friedhelm served as a Planungsingenieur for assembly systems, gaining responsibility for projects up to 15 million euros. From November 2000 to March 2002, Friedhelm was a Projektleiter for Meriva components, overseeing budget, timelines, and quality for projects valued at approximately 20 million euros. Since November 2002, Friedhelm has served as Werkstattleiter Anfertigung, Aufbau, Elektrik und Inbetriebnahme, leading the workshop area in fabrication and assembly, while also holding titles such as Leiter Projekt-Management and temporarily leading Electrical Engineering, managing significant project portfolios and teams. Friedhelm holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Maschinenbau - Konstruktionstechnik from Fachhochschule Rheinland-Pfalz Bingen, obtained between 1986 and 1991.
