Karsten Brosseit

Engineering Group Manager (engine Control Module Development, Integration & Release)

Karsten Brosseit is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in engine control module development and project management. Since May 2011, Karsten has served as Engineering Group Manager at Opel, overseeing a team of 16 engineers dedicated to hardware, software, and calibration development for engine control modules. Prior to this role, Karsten held the position of Global Assistant Chief Engineer Diesel Controls, leading the global project team for the first in-house developed engine control module for Euro 5 Diesel engines at both Opel and General Motors. Karsten's career at Opel began in 2003, progressing from Assistant Chief Engineer Diesel Controls to Senior Project Engineer in Powertrain Control Systems. Earlier experience includes a position as Software Development Engineer at Siemens VDO Automotive AG, where Karsten contributed to significant projects, including a patented method for load-dependent pump speed control. Karsten holds a Graduate Engineer (Diploma) degree in Electrical Engineering & Controls from Technische Universität Darmstadt.
