William Walker

William Walker is an experienced technology professional and entrepreneur with a diverse background in software development and accessibility. Currently serving as Proprietor at Butterfly Productions since April 2022 and an Advisor at Open Access Technologies, Inc. since September 2017, William previously held the role of Vice President at OAT, overseeing product management and development for SaaS platforms focused on accessible document remediation and data visualization. William has also led teams at major companies such as Oracle and Verizon, focusing on DevOps and IoT development, respectively. As the founder of US Bike Tools, LLC, a designer of high-end bicycle tools, William combines technical expertise with creative product innovation. Additional contributions to accessibility include leadership positions at BlackBerry and GNOME, coupled with an advisory role at Quanta Research Cambridge. William holds a BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics from Virginia Tech.
