Mike Hay

Mike Hay is a seasoned data scientist with a strong background in credit risk modeling and academic research. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Open Analytics since February 2022, Mike previously held the position of Modeller at CreditorWatch from November 2020 to February 2022. Prior to that, Mike gained significant experience at Westpac, where roles included Manager and Senior Modeller from March 2015 to November 2020. Mike’s earlier work includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at both INFN from November 2012 to November 2014 and Kyushu University from January 2009 to April 2012. Mike holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics from the University of Sydney.
