Open Arms is a community-based nonprofit organization serving the Annapolis Valley. Our mission is to create lasting, positive change by supporting individuals out of homelessness and into sustainable housing through evidence-based practices.

We provide an integrated continuum of support for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, including outreach services, emergency shelter, supportive housing, affordable housing, and intensive case management.

At Open Arms, we believe that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. We meet people where they are, helping them navigate barriers, reconnect with services, secure housing, and build the stability needed to move forward.

Our work is rooted in collaboration. We partner with healthcare providers, governments, landlords, businesses, community organizations, and volunteers because we know that ending homelessness requires a community-wide response.

Our vision is simple: everyone in the Annapolis Valley has access to dignified, affordable, and stable housing in the community of their choice.
