Matt Wakefield

Matt Wakefield is currently working as a Security Operations Manager at Open Banking since July 2022. Prior to this role, Matt held positions in security management and analysis at companies including Vocalink, Bank of England, Virgin Media, Symantec, and Satisnet. Throughout their career, Matt has been responsible for leading various security teams, implementing security monitoring and incident response capabilities, and protecting critical national infrastructure in the UK financial sector. Matt holds a degree in Computer Security and Digital Forensics from the University of Bedfordshire.
