Emmanuel Evance is an experienced software engineer with a robust background in front-end development and community engagement within the tech industry. Currently serving as an Associate Engineer at Open Function since September 2022, Emmanuel also actively contributes to PyCon Tanzania as a Secretariat member, promoting collaboration within the Python community. Prior experience includes co-founding irabu, a creative digital agency where Emmanuel held multiple roles, including Co-Founder & Operation Lead and Front End Lead. Emmanuel's journey in technology began as a junior developer and progressed through various significant positions, including Technologist at Code For Africa and Lead Organizer for Science Hack Day. Emmanuel holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology, obtained in 2015.
