Open Internet Nepal is a non-profit organization and the registered entity for the Internet Society Nepal Chapter. We serve the people of Nepal by promoting digital freedom, cybersecurity, and multi-stakeholder participation in internet governance. Our mission is to bridge the digital divide through local action rooted in global principles.

Our focus areas:
1) Advocacy on digital rights and inclusive internet policies
2) Research on emerging internet and cybersecurity issues
3) Capacity building and training for youth and communities
4) Community engagement and collaborative projects

We support the growth, resilience, and equitable use of the internet in Nepal with an emphasis on inclusivity and sustainability. Guided by Internet Society principles, we strive to keep the internet open, globally connected, secure, and trustworthy—benefiting all segments of society.
