Jo Cocks

Jo Cocks is an experienced professional in the field of psychology and mental health, currently serving as a Master of Clinical Psychology program placement at SunnyKids and the UniSC Psychology Clinic since 2025. With a robust background in mental health services, Jo has managed various programs, including the Family and Friends Program and The Way Back initiative, both aimed at suicide prevention and support. Prior experience includes roles in mental health intake and assessment at Central Queensland, Wide Bay, Sunshine Coast PHN, and as Intake Manager for Access Health and Community, along with a significant tenure in the cosmetics industry with The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. Jo holds a Master of Psychology (Clinical) from the University of the Sunshine Coast, a Graduate Diploma of Psychology Advanced from Monash University, and a Bachelor's degree in Social Science (Psychology) from Swinburne University of Technology, complemented by an earlier Bachelor's degree in Fine/Studio Arts from The Australian National University.
