Karin Stanley

Karin Stanley is an experienced educator currently serving as a Middle School Teacher at POIC + RAHS since January 2021 and as an Academic Support Coordinator at Open School since September 2019. In these roles, Karin provides individualized academic support, monitors student progress, and collaborates with administrators and staff to meet diverse student needs, including those with special requirements. Previous experience includes positions as a Case Manager College and Career Readiness Specialist at SE Works, College Success Coordinator/Advisor at Open Meadow Alternative Schools, VESL Instructor at Portland Community College, and ESL Instructor at the Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization. Karin holds a Master's degree in Conflict Resolution from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from George Fox University.
