Robert Johnson

Robert Johnson is an experienced educational and program director with a strong background in youth development and special education. Currently serving as Program Director at Open School since May 2025, Robert previously held the position of Sr Director of STEAM Clubhouses for Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland, where effective programming for Club members was prioritized. Prior roles include Learning Specialist at Estacada School District and Education Specialist at Terra Linda High School, where recognition for exceeding expectations in communication and support for students was achieved. Additionally, Robert has coaching experience and a diverse background, including time as a professional basketball player. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Education from Washington State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Oregon.
