Phillip Nell

Phillip Nell is an experienced operations manager and geospatial solutions architect with a strong background in GIS project delivery and team management. Currently serving as Operations Manager for Technical Services at Open Spatial since August 2010, Phillip leads a team of GIS professionals in delivering projects and services to clients. Previously, Phillip held roles as GIS Officer and GIS Coordinator at Wannon Water from March 2008 to July 2010, focusing on data maintenance and system improvements. In earlier positions at GISCOE (Pty) Ltd from June 2003 to February 2008, Phillip coordinated technical services and managed GIS applications development, creating solutions for various organizations. Phillip holds a B. Eng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from North-West University, obtained between 1990 and 1993.
