Open State Foundation is the leading digital transparency organization in the Netherlands. We work on digital transparency by opening up public information as open data and making it accessible for re-users. We believe that it will strengthen democracy and create substantial civic and economic value.

Open State advocates at all levels of government, create civic technology, stimulate the re-use of open data and helps civic organizations and journalists to make government and politics more accountable and transparent.
