Ivan Chamov

Ivan Chamov has a work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Ivan started their career as an Intern in Aerospace Engineering at Meggitt PLC in 2014. Ivan then worked at EPFL as a Teaching Assistant for Electromagnetics from 2012 to 2013. In 2016, they joined Open Systems as a Security Engineer and later became a Technical Account Manager in 2018. Currently, Ivan holds the position of Director, Customer Operations Service Center at Open Systems from February 2021 onwards.

Ivan Chamov has a diverse education history. Ivan obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Communication Systems from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in 2012. Ivan further pursued their studies at EPFL and completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Communication Systems in 2015. Additionally, they engaged in a Master Thesis in Aeronautics and Astronautics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2014-2015. Ivan Chamov also participated in an International Workshop on Space development: Theory and Practice at Bauman Moscow State Technical University in 2013. Lastly, they attended the International Graduate Summer School (IGSS) at Beihang University in 2015, focusing on Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering.

Aside from their academic achievements, Ivan Chamov holds several certifications. Ivan obtained a Private Pilot License from the Federal Office of Civil Aviation Switzerland in July 2020. Ivan also obtained an Open Water Diver certification from SSI Scuba Schools International in 2017, as well as an HB3 certification from the Federal Office of Communications OFCOM in the same year.
