Danielle Thompson

Danielle Thompson is a Fullstack Ruby on Rails Software Engineer with a diverse background in management and community-focused work. After over a decade in the hospitality industry and with organizations promoting environmental and social justice, Danielle completed a full-stack coding program at Epicodus Code School in 2021. Danielle has held various roles in software engineering, including an internship with the National Society of Black Engineers and a position at Open Up Resources, where they currently lead the development of educational resources aimed at improving equity in American education. Alongside technical skills, Danielle is passionate about community building in tech through documentation, live streaming, and outreach initiatives that support underrepresented individuals in the industry.
