David Pointon

David Pointon has over 14 years of work experience. In 2020, they joined Doorsteps Group as the Head of New Initiatives. From 2013 to 2020, they worked for Private Investments as the Director, investing in private companies in the real estate services and education sectors. David was also involved in supporting management with revenue growth, creating scalable operations, strategy, hiring C level staff and capital raising. From 2006 to 2013, they worked for ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as the Director, Investment Banking Group, where they were involved in advising on over A$30 billion of transactions for private equity, corporate and Government clients.

David Pointon began their educational journey at The Southport School from 1995 to 2000. David then attended the Global Young Leaders Conference as an Australian representative in 1999. From 2001 to 2005, they attended The University of Queensland, where they earned a B. Commerce and B. Business. In 2006, they completed an Advanced Valuation Course at the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
