Ali Saab is an experienced professional with a strong background in quantitative research and software development. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI since October 2025, Ali previously held positions at Qtron Investments as a Quantitative Researcher and at AJO as a Quantitative Developer, where contributions included developing back-testers and infrastructure for software projects. Ali's research experience includes working as a Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, focusing on convex optimization and uncertainty quantification, as well as projects related to micro-pump design and stochastic flow fields at the American University of Beirut. Ali holds a Master's degree in Computational Science from MIT and dual Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics from the American University of Beirut.
