Arthur Lee

Arthur Lee is a Principal Research Scientist specializing in Artificial Intelligence Solutions at OpenAI since January 2018, focusing on model inference acceleration using CUDA and TensorRT, alongside expertise in TensorFlow, PyTorch, and OpenAI Gym. Prior to this role, Arthur served as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Amazon Web Services from 2014 to 2018, developing and deploying machine learning models in the AWS cloud environment. Arthur's foundational work in machine learning began at Google as a Machine Learning Researcher between 2010 and 2014, contributing to the early development of TensorFlow. Earlier experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at IBM from 2006 to 2010, where Arthur developed natural language processing technologies and optimized IBM Cloud performance and security, along with an internship at IBM focusing on various software projects. Arthur holds a Master’s degree in Machine Learning from the University of California, Berkeley, completed in 2006.
