Brett Klinker

Brett Klinker currently serves as the Head of Extended Workforce at OpenAI, a position held since October 2024. Prior to this role, Brett was the Director and Senior Manager of Contingent Workforce at Cruise from October 2019 to October 2024, and before that, held the position of Sr. Contingent Workforce Manager at Uber from May 2017 to October 2019. Brett also managed operations of Uber's MSP program while at Randstad Sourceright, and served as Program Manager onsite at Gap Inc. for both MSX International and IQNavigator. Brett's career began at Cisco Systems as an HR Manager, followed by a role as Senior Manager at Illinois Business Consulting, and earlier experience as Manager at Ned Kelly's Steakhouse. Academically, Brett holds an MBA in Marketing and General Management, and a BS in Finance and Economics from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, along with an AS in Business Management from Parkland College.
