Brittany Smith serves as the UK Policy & Partnerships Lead at OpenAI, building upon a robust career in policy and research. Prior to this role, Brittany held positions such as Senior Research Associate at the Institute for Ethics in AI and Associate Fellow at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence. Experience also includes serving as Program Officer at Schmidt Futures and Policy Director at Data & Society Research Institute. Brittany holds a Master of Science in Gender & Public Policy from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Northwestern University.
