Chao Sun

Chao Sun is a skilled software engineer and technical expert with extensive experience in the technology industry. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI, Chao has previously held significant roles at companies such as Apple, Uber, and Cloudera, advancing from Software Engineer to Staff Software Engineer. Chao is also an active member of The Apache Software Foundation, contributing as a committer and Project Management Committee member for both Apache Spark and Apache Hadoop. Chao holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Nanjing University.
