Cheryl Sim

Cheryl Sim is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in managing product and influencer communications across the Asia Pacific region. Currently serving as Communications Manager at OpenAI since August 2025, Cheryl previously held multiple roles at Airbnb from March 2019 to August 2025, including overseeing the influencer seeding program and leading creative consumer campaigns. Prior to Airbnb, Cheryl worked as a Public Relations Specialist at NBCUniversal and contributed as a designer at the Catalyst Content Studio. Cheryl's early career included roles at The Walt Disney Company as a marketing assistant and intern. Academically, Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Communication Studies (Hons) from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and has pursued additional studies at the University of Stuttgart.
