Corwin Cheung is currently a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI, working on the development of the OpenAI API since May 2025. Prior to this role, Corwin was an undergraduate and student researcher at Harvard University from January 2023 to May 2025, contributing to various labs including the Sabatini Lab, Black Hole Initiative, and MJ Lab, while also serving as a case team lead for a 7-student AI policy and security research group under Schmidt Futures. In addition, Corwin gained experience as a Machine Learning Researcher at the Air Force Research Laboratory, focusing on efficient deep learning systems and related fields. Corwin is pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Philosophy from Harvard University.
