Cory Decareaux

Cory Decareaux is an experienced communications and photography professional currently serving as the Head of Internal Communications and Events at OpenAI since May 2022. Cory owns and operates Corydec Photography, established in November 2012. Prior to OpenAI, Cory held the position of Bay Area President at wayOUT from January 2021 to January 2023. Cory's tenure at Apple from October 2013 to May 2022 included roles such as Executive Communications and Social Media Producer, Lead Trainer, and Technical Specialist, where leadership and training were key responsibilities. Additionally, Cory worked as a VIP Tour Guide at Walt Disney World from November 2015 to December 2020 and served as the Social Media Manager at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from November 2012 to July 2013. Cory is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
