Delyan Raychev

Delyan Raychev is an accomplished software engineering leader with extensive experience in developing and managing complex software platforms. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI since May 2024, Delyan previously held the role of Head of Kubernetes Platform Software Engineering at Intuit, overseeing the design and operation of Kubernetes clusters that support nearly all company services. Prior to Intuit, Delyan was a Principal Software Engineering Manager at Microsoft, where the development of Open Service Mesh was initiated. Experience also includes management roles at Cruise Automation, leading teams in autonomous vehicle software development, and at ThinAir, where Delyan launched an endpoint observability product. Delyan's earlier career includes significant contributions at Facebook, Meebo, Google, and Plex Systems, showcasing a strong background in mobile development, ads infrastructure, and system design.
