Eric Buras

Eric Buras is a Solutions Architect at OpenAI since September 2025, previously serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Arkestro from April 2021 to September 2025. At Arkestro, Eric specialized in full-stack engineering across data pipelines, analytics, and machine learning models, contributing significantly to the company's growth by expanding the data science team and raising Series A funding. Prior experience includes roles as Head of Data Science and ML at Arkestro, Data Scientist at Dataiku, Lead Data Scientist at Savi Technology, and Data Scientist at Aptima, Inc. Eric holds a Master’s Degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Rice University and a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University, along with an education from St. Albans School.
