Eric Gomke

Eric Gomke currently serves as the Senior Director and Head of Global Revenue Accounting, Deal Desk & Order-to-Cash at OpenAI since November 2025. Prior to this role, Eric held several key positions at Uber, including Head of Global Revenue Accounting, where leadership was provided to a global team of over 90 professionals and significant advancements were made in revenue accounting and systems integration. Eric’s experience includes leading global revenue accounting at Icontrol Networks, where Eric also oversaw IPO readiness initiatives, and a tenure at NetApp that involved enhancing global revenue management processes and ensuring compliance with revenue recognition policies. Earlier career experience includes a role as Supervising Senior Audit Associate at KPMG, focusing on auditing and analysis of financial statements. Eric holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Montana State University-Bozeman, complemented by an Executive program in Leadership and Strategy from Harvard Business School.
