Florent Joly currently leads cross-functional safety programs at OpenAI since April 2024. Prior to this role, Florent served as a Senior Product Manager at Meta from July 2019 to April 2024, focusing on information integrity and user safety. At Google, from August 2014 to July 2019, Florent co-led initiatives to improve authoritative information on voting and strengthen cyber resilience during the 2019 EU Elections, while also spearheading brand marketing and go-to-market strategies for Google Play and Chromebook. Florent began the career as an editor at Journal Le Monde in January 2012. Academic qualifications include a Grande Ecole degree in Entrepreneurship from HEC Paris, an Executive Education in Marketing from The Wharton School, and studies at McGill University and Lycée Louis-le-Grand.
