Ian Silber

Ian S. currently serves as Head of Product Design at OpenAI since August 2023. Previously, Ian held the position of Product Designer at Global Illumination, Inc. from January 2022 to August 2023, and at Artifact from May 2021 to January 2022. Prior experience includes a dual role at Instagram as both Director of Product Design and Product Designer from May 2013 to June 2021, and Senior Product Designer at Groupon from June 2011 to May 2013, where Ian was responsible for the 2012 redesign of iPhone and Android apps. Ian's career began as Design/Development Lead at Internet Simplicity from September 2005 to April 2011.
