Irene Lu currently serves as the Head of AI Infrastructure at OpenAI, a position held since June 2025. Irene began a career in finance as an Internal Audit Manager at KPMG, covering various advisory consulting services for Fortune 500 companies from January 2006 to June 2012, and earlier served as a Deputy Manager at POLARIS SECURITIES CO., LTD. in Taiwan, where advisory services focused on securities investment. Irene holds an MBA from Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business and a BA from National Taiwan University.
