Jay Patel is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and product development. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI since 2025, Jay previously held significant positions as a Founding Engineer for Exclusives at Opendoor from 2021 to 2024 and Co-founder & CTO at Wildfire, which was acquired by Opendoor in 2021. Earlier in the career, Jay accumulated valuable insights through roles as a Product Intern at Databricks, a Product Security Intern at Dropbox, and a Databases Intern at Facebook.
