Jerene Yang

Jerene Yang is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in engineering and management. As the Head of Runtime at OpenAI, Yang oversees runtime functionalities, ensuring high performance and efficiency. Previously, as the CEO and Founder of Nerbify, Yang demonstrated entrepreneurial leadership. Yang also served as a Senior Engineering Manager at Google, managing teams and projects to deliver innovative solutions. Additionally, Yang co-founded Xcalar, Inc., where responsibilities included directing engineering and product management efforts. Earlier in the career, Yang contributed as a Lead Software Engineer at SanDisk®, focusing on software development and engineering excellence.
