Marc Manara

Marc Manara currently serves as the Head of the Startups Team at OpenAI since October 2023 and is an Investment Partner at Next Wave NYC, a pre-seed fund that fosters collaboration among NYC operators and tech founders. Previously, Marc held the position of Head of Business Development for the Early Stage Startup Ecosystem at Amazon Web Services from September 2018 to October 2023. As a co-founder of the food-tech startup Farm Hill from April 2013 to June 2018, Marc also gained experience as a Portfolio Manager at Acumen from February 2006 to June 2011 and worked as a Software Engineer and Consultant at Appian Corporation from September 2004 to February 2006. Marc holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business (2011-2014) and an AB in Computer Science from Harvard University (2000-2004).
