Michael Wu

Michael Wu has work experience in various companies. Michael is currently working as an Applied research member at OpenAI. Michael worked at Facebook as an Applied research scientist for three years, where they trained deep learning models for natural language understanding. Before Facebook, they worked as a Machine learning engineer at Primer AI, where they researched and productionized ML algorithms for text summarization, knowledge base construction, entity linking, and sentiment analysis. Michael worked as a Software Engineer at Dropbox, Machine Learning Intern at NAVER Corp, Machine learning intern at Apple, Software Engineer intern at Google, and Trading Intern at Jane Street Capital.

Michael Wu earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2015. In 2014-2015, they also pursued a Master of Engineering degree with a focus on Machine Learning from the same institution.
