Mike Trinh

Mike Trinh serves as Associate General Counsel at OpenAI since September 2023, bringing extensive legal expertise from over 15 years at Google, where roles included Head of Litigation Advance, Senior Litigation Counsel, and Senior Product Counsel. Notably, Mike Trinh led initiatives addressing consumer protection and cybersecurity issues, oversaw Google's response to opioid addiction through cross-functional collaboration, and acted as Product Counsel for groundbreaking projects like Project Loon and Project Wing. Prior experience includes working as an Intellectual Property Associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, and an internship at Microsoft. Mike Trinh holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
