Mingxuan Wang

Mingxuan Wang is a seasoned software engineer and technical leader currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI since March 2024. Previously, Mingxuan held the position of Staff Software Engineer and Tech Lead Manager at Uber from April 2018 to March 2024, where responsibilities included leading a global team of Data Engineers and driving the development of AI and data solutions in the Safety & Trust domain. Notable achievements at Uber include being the all-time top contributor to the core data pipeline repository and recognition as a top engineer by the CTO. Prior experience includes serving as a software engineer at Celential.ai, playing a key role in the founding of the data engineering team. Mingxuan holds a Master of Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering from UC San Diego and has participated in executive education programs at Harvard Business School and Reforge.
