Natalie Summers

Natalie Summers has extensive experience in communications and social media, currently serving in a communications role at OpenAI since March 2021. Prior to this, Natalie held positions at Apple focusing on executive communications and social media from April 2018 to March 2021. Before Apple, Natalie was the Director of Social Media at WIRED from December 2016 to April 2018 and worked as a Digital Editor at USA TODAY from October 2015 to December 2016. Natalie's career began at USA TODAY as a Breaking News Reporter from 2011 to 2014 and included a role as a Teaching Assistant for News Writing at the University of Vermont from September 2010 to December 2011. Additionally, Natalie interned at the Burlington Free Press in the summer of 2010. Natalie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Communications from the University of Vermont.
