Nik Medrano

Nik Medrano has extensive experience in recruiting, currently serving as a member of the recruiting staff at OpenAI, focusing on User Operations and Data Science since June 2025. Prior to this, Nik worked as a technical recruiter at Stripe from July 2023 to June 2025, specializing in backend engineering roles. Nik's earlier roles at Box included various positions in sales recruiting, where responsibilities encompassed full-cycle recruiting across the Commercial Sales organization, and significant achievements in establishing recruiting processes and hiring for new roles. Nik's career began with experience at Safe Passage as a classroom assistant and as a research analyst intern at Egon Zehnder. Nik holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Spanish, modified with Art History from Dartmouth College.
