Patrick Chao is a final-year PhD student in Statistics at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a current researcher at OpenAI. Previously, Patrick worked as a trading intern at Jane Street and a teaching assistant at the University of California, Berkeley. Patrick also gained experience as an applied scientist intern at Amazon Web Services and conducted research at Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research from 2017 to 2020.
